Our Yunnan Trip

Jike and I traveled to China to spend the holidays with Jike's family. We decided that after we had visited several foreign countries, we really need to see China as tourists to appreciate the beauty of it. We started dropping hints a couple of months before our trip (as otherwise we wouldn't even have enough time to spend with family and friends), and thankfully Jike's parents supported us.

As an old Chinese proverb says:"Good things have many twists (hao3 shi4 duo1 mo2)," Jike's dad had a fall that resulted in a cracked bone two days before our trip date, so we ended up rescheduling our trip around. Even so, we enjoyed our trip thoroughly and would recommend Yunnan to anyone interested in nature, culture, and food.
